Sheikh Saeed Rageah
Sheikh Saeed Rageah was born in Somalia, raised in Saudi Arabia and in the late 80s found his way to North America. He is married and has four daughters and two sons. He enjoys spending quality time with his family. He holds a B.A in Islamic studies as well as a Masters in Shari'ah from the Institute of Islamic and Arabic Sciences in Fairfax, Virginia. Over the years, he has held several posts including founder of Masjid Huda in Montreal, Masjid Aya in Maryland, Muslim Youth magazine and the Aqsa Association. After serving as an imam in Maryland and Calgary, Saeed moved to Toronto with his family and when he is not discharging his various duties at the Masjid, he travels the globe extensively as a lecturer. Sheikh Saeed recently moved to Toronto with his family and is currently serving as an Imam at Abu Huraira Islamic Center. He teaches and travels for Al-Maghrib Institute and he also holds the post of Chairman for the Journey of Faith conference. Sheikh Abdur-Raheem McCarthy
Shaykh AbdurRaheem McCarthy is of Irish-American heritage and was born and raised in the USA. After accepting Islam in 1994, he moved to Sudan and then Saudi Arabia where he spent 10 years in Madinah studying under the scholars and as a student in the Islamic University of Madinah. He graduated from the Arabic Institute and then from the faculty of Da'wah and Usool Ad-Deen, Islamic University of Madinah. He is well known from his TV shows on Peace TV, Huda TV, Tayba TV, Sharjah TV and Qatar TV, along with lecturing internationally with the Peace TV conference, and conferences in the UK, Canada, Ireland, Qatar, UAE and Sudan. Shaykh McCarthy has now decided to follow his roots and is living in Ireland, while supporting dawah projects internationally. He is an avid basketball & American football fan and loves to read, spend time with the family and enjoy the outdoors
Brother Mustaqiim Sahir
Mustaqiim Sahir is a youth advocate, author and entertainer. Over the years he has produced several CDs and Videos of nasheeds, puppet shows and plays to teach Islam to Muslim children and for Dawah. He performs educational Islamic entertainment with his puppets and solo in Masajid, schools and auditoriums. Mustaqiim Sahir converted to Islam in 1989. In 1993 he left a recording contract in Hollywood, moved back to the east coast, started a family, and began recording Islamic songs. He moved his family to Istanbul, Turkey in 1997 and recorded his song and music video entitled This is Islam, which sings that "Islam is all about peace". A few years later, for this song and video, brother Mustaqiim received a letter of praise from President Clinton. Today he is the founder and director of a community theater and production studio in Dallas Texas called Upright Theater to producing shows for Guide US TV and to presenting values-based entertainment to the general public.
Sheikh Hussain Yee
Sheikh Hussain Yee is the President of Al Khadim Organization in Malaysia. He is a Malaysian national of Chinese descent. Although born into a Buddhist family, he embraced Islam at the age of 18 in 1968.He pursued further studies at the Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia majoring in Hadith. After graduating in 1978, he joined the Muslim Welfare Organization, 'Perkin', in Malaysia, which focuses on the well being of the new converts to Islam. Later he seconded as director of Islamic centre in Hong Kong. With his vast experience in Islamic Social Welfare and Dawah work, he founded Al Khadim with a group of volunteers in 1984. He also studied under one of the great scholars on Hadith of his time, Sheikh Muhammad Nasiruddin Al Albani. Today, Ustaz Muhammad Hussain Yee is a well-known personality in the Islamic world. He gives regular lectures in the Asia Pacific region and conducts a lot of summer camps in UK and Europe by the invitation of local and international organizations.
Sheikh Salem Al-Amry
Located in UAE, he has got two degrees, one in electronic engineering, and the other computer science. Dr. Yasir Qadhi
Yasir Qadhi is a lecturer and Islamic orator who has authored several books about Islam. He is a popular speaker in many Muslim circles in the United States, Canada, England and Australia. He is one of the few people who has combined a traditional seminary training with Western education. He was born in Houston, Texas, went to high school in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and worked for Dow Chemical on a short stint. He then decided to pursue an education in Islamic studies, and left for the Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia. There, he completed a second Bachelors degree, specializing in Hadith studies, and then went on to complete M.A. in Technology. Presently, he is completing his Ph.D. in Islamic studies at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Apart from his studies, he is an active Instructor in the Al-Maghrib Institute and the Al-Kauthar Institute. He appears on a number of Islamic satellite channels (Islam Channel in England, Al-Huda Channel in Saudi Arabia and Al-Fajr Channels in Egypt), where he teaches theology, Seerah, Tajweed, and other topics. He gives regular Friday sermons and lectures.
Dr. Muhammad Salah
Dr. Muhammad Salah is one of the well-know scholars in US He lead the Islamic Center of Victoria, Texas and founded two Islamic and Arabic schools, Namely Iman Stems and the Muslim Generation He is the presenter of Ask Huda, one of the most well-known Fatawa programs broadcast at Huda TV. He works as the religious supervisor of Huda TV. Dr. Salah had 400 live broadcasting hours in Egyptian, Arabic and American television stations. He teaches at Al-Azhar University,Shariah Academy and London College. He speaks Arabic and English fluently He presents a famous TV program called Correct your recitation. He obtained his BA in Shari'ah and Islamic Law from the University of Al-Azhar and BA in pharmacology. He obtained a four-year diploma in Muslim arts and Arabic calligraphy He obtained the pre-master diploma in Islamic studies from the American Open University.
